Job Description

Fabcom Structural Limited, a leading roofing manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking a skilled and experienced Language Assistant to support our growing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide accurate and timely translation of documents, correspondence, and other materials between English and Chinese.
2. Interpret during meetings, conferences, and other business interactions.
3. Assist in market research and competitor analysis by translating relevant materials.
4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all translation and interpretation tasks.
5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of translation glossaries and terminology databases.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Chinese-English translation.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
4. Proficiency in using translation software and tools.
5. Strong cultural understanding of both Chinese and Nigerian business environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry.
2. Knowledge of roofing materials and industry terminology.
